FFAB wins bid to cover the CTBTO conference, Vienna 2011

FFAB, Vienna, 29 December, 2011:

FFAB has won the bid to film the CTBTO Advanced Science Course Conference in Vienna, November 28th - December 9th 2011.

CTBTO, the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty Organisation, monitors nuclear testing to ensure the world complies with commitments to a nuclear-test free world.

FFAB will be filming and streaming the event in a multi-camera set-up from the Austria Centre Vienna.

FFAB produces short film about artist & scientist Ulrike Kuchner - Measuring mistakes

ESPI, Vienna, 28 May, 2011:

FFAB has been commissioned to make a film about Ulrike Kuchner, and up and coming artist and astronomer from Vienna.

The film had support from a number of places including Blandina Barnes, communications officer at ESPI and the European Space Observatory, Vienna.

Ulrike’s work “Measuring Mistakes” will have a exhibition at ESPI on Tuesday June 7th 2011, and the film will be featured at the event.

Los Angeles, CA (January 21, 2011) – Media 8 Entertainment, a leading film entertainment company engaged in the production, financing, acquisition, and worldwide licensing of theatrical feature films, announced today that British leading man Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings Trilogy) will star in “The Laureate,” alongside rising young actresses Imogen Poots (Cracks, Me and Orson Wells, Solitary Man) and Kerry Condon (The Last Station, The Runaway). William Nunez wrote and will direct the film, a sexy drama which tells the true story of a love triangle between famed young British poet and writer Robert Graves (Bloom), his wife Nancy (Condon), and the passionate young American writer Laura Riding (Poots). Media 8 Entertainment is handling worldwide sales for the film.

Vienna, 15 October, 2010:

3-d production

FFAB makes its first 3-d movie.

Using two Canon 5D mark ii cameras and a system developed by Bruger Film, FFAB has successfully filmed a promotional video for the construction industry.

The film will be shown in cinemas across Europe before Christmas.

Concord Dawn launches new music video - FOREVER

FFAB co-produces two music videos for leading New Zealand drum and base group Concord Dawn.

The videos feature two up and coming Austrian actors from Vienna, Sophia Grabner and Sebastian Wimmer.

The first track “Forever” is launched today to rave reviews.

A woman with a shoe fetish catches her husband playing away from home. She's in two minds about what to do - so one mind takes the initiative and murders the husband's bit on the side.

When he is arrested, she finds herself free to pursue a young lover of her own. What better way to snag a toy boy than having the competition bumped off! All it takes is a quick snap of the victim on her phone and her guardian unangel does the rest.

Mass murder never goes to plan, however, and her obsession for stilettos diverts her to something a little more unsavoury.

FFAB co-produces music videos Concord Dawn

Vienna, 14 August, 2010:

FFAB co-produces two music videos for leading New Zealand drum and base group Concord Dawn.

Once again, beating the competition, FFAB were the company of choice and picked up the contract to work with renowned New Zealand director Warren Green. The band’s composer Matthew Harvey was delighted with the work and very excited about the release of the videos.

Shot in and around Vienna the videos tell the story of a man who falls in love with a prostitute, but his love is not reciprocated.

The videos feature two up and coming Austrian actors from Vienna, Sophia Grabner and Sebastian Wimmer.

The two tracks “Easy Life” and “Forever” will be launched internationally in the next few weeks.
