Having the right contacts in the television industry is essential for both gaining a commission and selling a programme.

Ffab has links with all the major broadcasters, we attend all the major international markets and events and have many distribution contacts worldwide.

Once we assess your film or programme, we are well placed to advise how best to break down the rights that you own and sell them in different territories around the globe.

Additionally, the internet has created opportunities for individuals and smaller companies to make money from their media projects. Ffab is on the forefront of this technology and uses portals such as bablegum, createspace and of course YouTube to promote or sell products online.

The Hunt

You’d be surprised what programmes might be popular internationally. This BBC documentary about a fox hunting club in the the year before fox hunting was banned in the UK has had sales internationally and also has a DVD distribution. Ffab are sales agents for the project and sought out a particular distributor in Munich.

Short films

All projects can have a “long tail’ these days - i.e. they can have a shelf life that lasts many years, even decades if they are cult material.

It is notoriously difficult to make money from individual short films, so ffab combine selected films to make 30 minutes of entertainment that it sells online through Amazon and other channels.
