The cast
Laura is the central character around whom events turn. I will let Robert‟s own words describe her: “The Goddess is a lovely, slender woman with a hooked nose, deathly pale face, lips red as rowan berries, startingly blue eyes and long fair hair. She will suddenly transform herself into sow, mare, vixen, she-wolf, tigress. Her titles and names are innumerable, but she is known as The White Goddess, and I cannot think of any true poet from onwards who has not independently recorded his experiences of her.”
