Following Angela's Ashes, Condon appeared alongside Imelda Staunton in the Steve Barron film Rat. In 2005, Condon appeared with Jet Li, Morgan Freeman and Bob Hoskins in Unleashed and also made her first appearance in the hit HBO/BBC series Rome. Abram-directed series Anatomy of Hope. On the big screen, she recently played opposite Christopher Plummer and Helen Mirren in The Last Station. The cast
Nancy is the perfect counterfoil to Laura. She is prepared to share her home with another woman for the greater good of her husband. She falls in love with Laura as she feels a bond she could never feel with her husband and at the same time, she is very accepting of Robert‟s need for Laura and makes strong decisions for herself and the children based on the facts she is presented with, and does not try to change the situation or swing it to her advantage. Although talented as an artist, Nancy paints for the love of it and is not tormented by her art the way Robert and Laura are. She is Laura‟s equal in terms of strength as an independent, self-expressed woman.
